Asphalt-to-Concrete Driveway Transformation
Project Details
Khaled, a homeowner on Arcadian Drive in Sicklerville, NJ, wanted to completely transform his driveway and front service walk area. His main goal? Lowering the driveway’s elevation by 2′ 4″ to bring it closer to street level while maintaining proper grading for water runoff.
To achieve this, we:
Removed the existing asphalt driveway
Excavated and lowered the driveway grade by 2′ 4″
Installed a new 20′ wide concrete driveway, extending 36′ from the sidewalk to the foundation
Maintained the right side’s alignment with the existing driveway apron
Knocked down and regraded the front yard as needed
Haunched the left side for added support and used the excavated dirt to fill and grade around the left side
The end result? A wider, smoother, and more accessible driveway that blends seamlessly with Khaled’s home. He was thrilled with the transformation and now enjoys the added convenience of his new, easy-access parking area.
