Complete Asphalt-to-Concrete Driveway, Sidewalk, Apron & Curb Replacement

Brad, a homeowner on Crystal Lake Ave in Haddon Township, NJ, contacted us to replace his aging asphalt driveway with a new concrete surface. After meeting with our estimator, he decided to go all in—replacing not just the driveway but also the sidewalks, apron, and curb for a full property upgrade.
This two-day project required careful planning and coordination:
Day 1: Demolition & Sewer Line Prep
Removed the existing asphalt driveway, service walk, and sidewalk blocks to allow for a sewer line replacement.
Day 2: Full Concrete Installation
Rebuilt and compacted the driveway base, lowering the grade by 4 inches
Installed a wider driveway
Ensured a seamless transition where the driveway meets the backyard paver patio, keeping it level and grading down properly Replaced and squared off the garage apron for a full-width transition
Replaced the sidewalk blocks in front of the driveway at 6 inches thick for code compliance Installed a new concrete driveway apron at 6 inches thick to meet building code Removed and replaced 27 feet of curb, ensuring a proper depressed curb for smooth access to the road Installed a new service walk, flaring it to 5’ where it meets the driveway for better access
