New Concrete Staircase & Slabs for School

Naudain Montessori Academy on Sunshine Lakes Drive in Voorhees, NJ contacted us about steps and slabs pitched towards the building.

To ensure a seamless and efficient process, we scheduled the project for a day when the school would be closed, ideally on a Friday, aiming to complete the work in one day.

For this staircase renovation, we:
The customers contractor braced the roof for structural support during construction
We replaced the staircase with the same profile, featuring:
– 8′ x 8.25′ top landing
 – Two wrap-around steps
Adjusted riser heights to meet building code requirements
Installed seven footers along the first step
Replaced both slabs next to the main staircase, ensuring:
– Extra fill to build up and create proper slope away from the building
 – Reinforced steel wire for added durability

The result? A strong, functional, and visually appealing new staircase that enhances safety and curb appeal at the school. Richard was thrilled with the transformation and excited to see the upgraded entryway to the building!
